About PETMETIVA

PETMETIVA is a pet-focused platform in development in Australia for pet profiles, discovery, community, messaging, adoption and rehoming enquiries, marketplace features, trust and safety tools and controlled specialty-pet workflows.

Adult beta

PETMETIVA’s initial beta is intended for people aged 18 or older.

No guarantee

PETMETIVA may provide verification steps, moderation, profile information or trust indicators, but these do not guarantee that a person, organisation, animal, product, listing or future interaction is safe, lawful, suitable, healthy or truthful in every respect.

Responsible conduct

Users must not use PETMETIVA to harass, threaten, scam, exploit, facilitate unlawful animal trade, distribute illegal material, misrepresent pets or listings, or interfere with security and safety systems.

Child safety

PETMETIVA has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The PETMETIVA Child Safety Standards form part of PETMETIVA's safety rules.

Adoption and rehoming

PETMETIVA facilitates communication and enquiry workflows but is not automatically the owner, breeder, rescue, shelter, transporter or legal transferor of animals listed by third parties.

Specialty pets

Specialty companion requests are subject to jurisdiction, species, permit, sourcing, welfare, transport and transfer requirements. PETMETIVA will not knowingly facilitate prohibited or unlawful wildlife or animal trade.

Safety and moderation

PETMETIVA may investigate reports, restrict accounts, preserve relevant audit records and take proportionate safety actions.

Account deletion

PETMETIVA users can initiate account deletion in the app or through the external account deletion page.

Beta availability

Pre-launch and beta access may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn while PETMETIVA is tested.
